Just connect at least two water leak detectors from Roost or Resideo and start sharing data with us. We’ll give you a discount on your USAA Homeowners Insurance. See note 1
You can also get mobile alerts about potential incidents and prevent serious damage before it happens. And you can add more devices from there.

You can use devices you already own.
If you already have eligible Roost or Resideo devices, you can use them. You just need two water leak detectors to get started.
Make sure your devices are set up on their manufacturer’s app. Then enroll in Connected Home and start sharing data from your devices with USAA.

Yes, you can sign up as many homes as you have USAA Homeowners Insurance policies for. Each home must be in an eligible state and share data from at least two water leak detectors.
You'll need Wi-Fi at the home you’re enrolling. And you’ll need a smartphone with an operating system of iOS 10, Android 6 or higher.
In most states, we don’t apply the Connected Home discount and the Protective Device Credit at the same time.
If you’re eligible for both, we’ll apply the Connected Home discount since it’s the larger of the two.
If you’re eligible for the Sprinkler Discount, you can receive it along with the Connected Home discount.
Roost and Resideo will share device usage data with us for all devices connected to your app. This won’t include any audio, video or still images.
We’ll use the data internally to improve our offerings and better serve USAA members. We’ll never share your data with third-party or marketing companies.
