Rental Property Policy

Program benefits

No additional cost

We’ll add this complimentary service automatically to eligible policies. It’ll continue as long as your policy remains active.

Property damage assessment

Your enrollment authorizes wildland firefighters to respond quickly, assess possible damage and fight a wildfire on your property.

There's no guarantee a crew can prevent damage or respond to all wildfires or member properties.

Communication

Wildfire professionals will monitor fire activity before, during and after the event to help reduce your risk of loss.

If they access your property during a wildfire, they’ll leave a notice to let you know they’ve been there.

Professional wildfire response

Our program service providers are a group of professional, certified wildland firefighters.

RedZone specializes in monitoring wildfire activity. Capstone and Chloeta have the equipment and resources to provide timely services when a wildfire is imminent.

How wildfire professionals may protect your home

After RedZone detects a wildfire threat, they may send experienced Capstone and Chloeta firefighters to the area.

The firefighters could take nondestructive actions during or after the fire that include:

  • Removing combustible materials and debris from the perimeter of your home.
  • Clearing gutters and roof debris as necessary.
  • Sealing attic vents if possible.
  • Applying gel or foam retardant or setting up and deploying sprinkler systems as necessary.
  • Reevaluating and extinguishing hot-spots and smoldering vegetation on your property after the fire has passed.
