Remember, we’ll never call or text you and ask for your one-time verification code, PIN, password or any other personal identification details.

Unauthorized transactions

To report unauthorized credit card or ATM/debit card transactions, log on to usaa.com or the USAA Mobile App and select "Dispute Transaction” from your account activity page.


Call us 24/7 if you have questions. For credit cards, call 800-945-6759. For ATM/debit cards, call 800-951-4539.

Suspicious USAA call, email or text message

If you provided any personal information like your password or other logon information, call us immediately at 877-762-7256.

If you didn’t give out any info but want to report what happened, send an email to abuse@usaa.com. Include the phone number and details about the call or message.

Lost or stolen debit or credit card

Debit cards
To avoid misuse of your lost debit card, log on to report the lost card. We'll terminate the lost card and ship you a replacement. Shipping charges may apply.

Identity theft

If you’re a victim of fraud or identity theft

Close affected accounts immediately.

Create new usernames and passwords for any new accounts you open. You should also change your logon information for all other accounts.

Get a new driver’s license or ID card.

Follow your area’s DMV procedures to cancel your existing license or card.

Contact consumer reporting companies.

Equifax®, Experian® and TransUnion® can place a fraud alert on your credit reports.

Alert law enforcement.

File reports with the police and the Internet Crime Complaint Center. Get copies or report numbers to send to creditors.
