What does wedding insurance cover?
You can't control everything on your wedding day, but you can have peace of mind with wedding insurance. It allows you to put safeguards in place in case something unexpected happens.
For example, your venue suddenly declares bankruptcy and closes just weeks before your event. Your cancellation coverage could save you thousands.
Or you accidentally knock over and break a statue at the venue while you're cleaning up after the event. Your event policy could help cover the cost of the damage.
How much is event insurance?
The cost of event liability insurance can range from $75 to $235, depending on the coverage limits and options you choose. Liability limits start at $500,000, and you can choose to exclude liquor liability coverage if there is no alcohol at your event.
Event cancellation insurance costs as low as $130. This is based on cancellation or postponement coverage, which starts at $7,500. Your event budget determines the cost of your coverage, so you can customize it to your needs.
