Security
When you use Google Pay, a virtual account number is sent to the merchant for that purchase. This helps to keep your actual USAA card information safe. Before making the purchase, you'll need to unlock your mobile device.
If you see any transaction on your USAA debit or credit card that you don't recognize, call us immediately at 800-531-USAA (8722).
Google Pay can't be used without unlocking your mobile device. But if you lose your mobile device, you can do one of the following:
- Lock or erase your Google Pay account through Google Find My Device (Opens new window).
- Block or delete your USAA cards on usaa.com. Log on and go to the Account Summary for the account you want to block. Select "Manage Devices for Mobile Pay."
