General
We are issuing you a new card to help protect your account against fraudulent activity. Specific details were not reported to us, but we believe that unauthorized individuals may have obtained your card information through non-USAA systems.
Receiving a notification about a reissued card doesn't mean fraudulent activity has occurred on your account. However, if you notice suspicious charges, please contact us as soon as possible.
We recommend using multifactor authentication, or MFA, for an added layer of password protection. Learn more about MFA at usaa.com/MFA.
If you have a domestic address, you should receive your new card approximately 7 to 10 business days after we sent the original notification of a reissued card. If you have an international address, delivery may take 7 to 21 business days.
To track your new card, check your card mailing status.
Once you receive your new card, you can activate it at usaa.com/activate.
After you have activated your new card, please destroy your current card. Your current card will be deactivated once you have activated your new card, or 30 calendar days after we first notified you, whichever occurs first. A copy of the original notification can be found via usaa.com or the USAA Mobile App.
If you believe we mailed your card to the wrong address, please call us immediately.
