Consumer Lending Account Summary Redesign

Start of Content

We've made key resources more prominent and relocated others in response to feedback. You'll still have access to the same info and we hope you find it easier to manage your loan.

  • Quick-access links to make a payment or pay off a loan
  • Better explanations of total due or past due plus any fees
  • Enhanced explanations of banking terminology or services common to all members
  • Improved organization of information and services on the webpage
  • Loan details now located under General Information section

You'll find "Make a payment" and "Pay off my loan" in prominent places near the top of the page.

Automatic Payments

When using "Make a payment," you'll notice a status indicator that tells you whether automatic payments are turned on or off. You can set up, modify or cancel automatic payments by using the link that follows the "Make a payment" button.

  • Use "Set up" to turn on automatic payments.
  • Use "Modify" to change the bank you'll use to automatically pay your loan.
  • Use "Modify" to cancel automatic payments.

Other Payments

You can make payments without using automatic payments. Just select "Make a payment" and add information for the bank account you want to use before submitting.

If you're enrolled in automatic payments, your loan won't generate monthly statements; however, you can review your activity on the account summary. If you're not enrolled in automatic payments and you want to review your statements, you can:

USAA Mobile App

Simply log on, then:

  • 1. Select "More" and scroll down to "Other Services and Tools."
  • 2. Select "USAA documents."

usaa.com

Simply log on, then:

  • 1. Select your account profile in the navigation menu.
  • 2. Select "My Documents."

On the USAA Mobile App, start by selecting your loan from with "Make a payment," then use the loan payoff information link to find the "Loan details" link. There you'll find your collateral details. On usaa.com, you'll find your loan details on the account summary page in general information following the account address. If you've secured your loan with collateral, you'll find those details following your loan details.

If you're enrolled in debt protection, you can find your enrollment status using "Make a payment" and then checking the automatic payments information. You can select "Details" to confirm your plan type and get contact information for Assurant.

Guided by feedback from members like you, we're improving the navigation and design to provide easier access to key services in your consumer loan account summary. With that in mind, we've implemented new technology tools on the consumer lending account summary. This is just one of many ways we're improving the USAA Mobile App and usaa.com.
