About Matt
Matt Lyon joined USAA in 2010 and currently serves as an advice manager and life insurance professional with the Enterprise Advice Group. In this role, he helps establish USAA's advice standards and create meaningful personal finance content designed to facilitate members' financial security. Matt focuses on the topics of life and health insurance.
Prior to this role, Matt spent more than 15 years in various financial advice and management roles.
Matt is a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a bachelor's degree in finance and a certificate in investments. His previous licenses include FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 51, 63 and 65, and he holds an Arizona Life/Health license.
Matt and his wife have two children. He enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as the occasional round of golf.
