Admiral Zortman served 34 years in the U.S. Navy and was the Commander to the Naval Air Forces, Naval Air Forces Pacific Fleet, Naval Air Forces Atlantic Fleet, and Task Force 50 during Operation Enduring Freedom. He received the Distinguished Service Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit (four), the Bronze Star, and the Air Medal.

He is a senior advisor at the Boston Consulting Group, former chair of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation and San Diego Regional Economic Development Corp., and a trustee to United Through Reading.

Admiral Zortman previously held senior vice president positions at Northrop Grumman Aerospace, and served as a member of the strategic advisory board of Airbus U.S. Space and Defense, Inc.

Admiral Zortman received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the U.S. Naval Academy and completed a fellowship with the Chief of Naval Operations Strategic Studies Group at the Naval War College.

Col. Bulls' career includes 30 years in the U.S. Army, including in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and as an associate professor at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He received the Legion of Merit award.

Col. Bulls is the chairman of Fluence Energy, Inc., and vice chairman of Americas, Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. He serves on the boards of directors of Comfort Systems, Collegis Education, Host Hotels and Resorts, and the American Red Cross, and is a former director of Exelis, Inc., Tyco International, and Computer Sciences Corp. He is the founder and chief executive officer of Bulls Advisory Group, LLC.

Col. Bulls received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Harvard Business School.

Juan C. Andrade serves as the president and chief executive officer of USAA. He brings significant private and public sector experience in senior leadership roles across multiple global organizations, a strong track record of driving operational excellence, innovation, and financial strength. Juan leads with a deep commitment to serving the military community and their families.

USAA ranks among the most respected financial services organizations in the country. In 2024, it was listed 103rd on the FORTUNE 500® and 23rd on the FORTUNE World's Most Admired Companies list. USAA has also been recognized as a VETS Indexes 5-Star Employer and Military Friendly® Employer every year since the list’s inception. Staying true to its mission, USAA leads and inspires actions that benefit the military community, and most of its philanthropic giving is directed toward military causes. In 2023, USAA launched Face the Fight™, a social-impact initiative uniting corporations, foundations, nonprofits and veteran-focused organizations in the effort to prevent veteran suicide.

Juan has served on USAA’s Board of Directors since 2020, contributing to key committees focused on the member experience, risk, finance and technology. As a USAA member, he has firsthand experience with the association's mission of supporting those who serve.

Before joining USAA, Juan was the president and CEO of Everest Group, Ltd., a global provider of reinsurance and insurance solutions. Prior to Everest, Juan held senior executive positions at Chubb, The Hartford and Progressive, where he led businesses across diverse markets and drove operational excellence.

Beyond the private sector, Juan has a distinguished record of public service, with experience in national security, international affairs and drug policy. He has held key roles in the U.S. federal government's Executive Branch, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. In recognition of his work in national security, he was awarded the Secretary of Defense Medal for Meritorious Civilian Service.

Juan is a leader in the global insurance industry, serving as a member of the Geneva Association, the only international association of insurance companies and a leading think tank for the industry. He also serves on the board of overseers for the St. John's University School of Risk Management and the board of trustees for The Institutes, an organization dedicated to advancing professional education in risk management and insurance. Additionally, he is on the board of the American Property Casualty Insurance Association, the primary national trade association for the U.S. property and casualty insurance industry.

He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and political science from the University of Florida and a master's degree in international economics and Latin American studies from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. In 2023, he was recognized by The Wall Street Journal as one of the World's Most Influential Decision Makers.

Ross Buchmueller is the founder and former chief executive officer of PURE Group of Insurance Companies.

His thirty years of experience in the insurance industry also includes service as senior vice president at The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, and founder and president of AIG Private Client Group. He serves on the board of trustees of Trinity College, the board of governors of the PGA Tour First Tee Foundation, and the board of TIH (formerly Truist Insurance Holdings).

Mr. Buchmueller has a Bachelor of Administration in Economics from Trinity College.

Mr. Buchmueller obtained his membership through the military service of a family member.

Mr. Conner is the executive chairman of the board of USAA Federal Savings Bank.

He also serves as a director for the Radian Group, Inc. His extensive banking experience includes service as a board member and chair of the Consumer Bankers Association, vice chairman of Consumer Banking for Citizens Financial Group, Inc., president of Chase Home Equity and Mortgage Home Loan Direct, CEO of Chase Education Finance, president of Bank One Real Estate Lending, president and CEO of Bank One Mortgage Corporation, and as a board member, treasurer, and audit committee chair of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

Mr. Conner received his Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance and Banking, and Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas.

Mr. Darnell is the lead independent director of USAA Federal Savings Bank.

Mr. Darnell spent 37 years with Bank of America including service as vice chairman of Global Wealth & Investment Management, co-chief operating officer, president of Global Commercial Banking, and president of Middle Market Banking.

In addition to his USAA service, Mr. Darnell currently serves on the board of directors of Granite Construction, Inc. He previously served on the boards of directors of Watsco, Inc., the American Bankers Association, The Museum of the American Revolution, and Project Life Movement.

Mr. Darnell received his Bachelor of Science from Wake Forest University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mr. Darnell served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Maj. Gen. Garrett served 36 years in the U.S. Marine Corps (active and reserves), including service as special assistant to the Commander to U.S. Africa Command and as Commander of the Marine Forces Europe and Marine Forces Africa. She was the first woman appointed as Inspector General of the Marine Corps.

Maj. Gen Garrett is a former member of the Secretary of the Navy's Marine Corps Reserve Policy Board, and a former director of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. Currently, she serves on the board of directors of the Fort Worden Public Development Authority. She is a decorated veteran of the Iraq War.

Maj. Gen. Garrett received her Bachelor of Arts in English from University of Washington and a Master of National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.

Rear Admiral Landry served 35 years in the U.S. Coast Guard (active duty and in Senior Executive Service), including as special assistant to the president and senior director for Resilience Policy for the National Security Council, SES director of Incident Management and Preparedness Policy, Commander of Eighth Coast Guard District, and director of Governmental and Public Affairs for the U.S. Coast Guard.

She currently serves as a director of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, a board member of NACD Florida Chapter, and on the advisory board of Sea Machine Robotics, Inc.

Rear Admiral Landry received her Bachelor of Arts in English from SUNY Buffalo, a Master of Arts in Management from Webster University, a Master of Marine Affairs from University of Rhode Island, and is a Harvard National Security Fellow. She is also a Harvard Certified Board Director, an NACD Certified Director, and has an NACD CERT Certificate in Cyber-Risk Oversight.

Gen. McDew served 36 years in the U.S. Air Force including as Commander of the U.S. Transportation and Air Mobility Commands, Commander of the 18th Air Force and Air Force District of Washington and as director of public affairs to the U.S. Air Force. He received the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, Air Force Distinguished Service Medal and Defense Superior Service Medal (both with an oak leaf cluster), and the Legion of Merit award with two oak leaf clusters.

Gen. McDew currently serves on the boards of directors of Abbott Laboratories, General Electric, and Parsons Corporation, as well as the boards of Manns Horne Youth Foundation and Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Gen. McDew received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Military Institute and holds a Master of Science in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow.

Ms. McKibben is founder and CEO of MAC Global Partners. Ms. McKibben also serves as a director for Ecolab, Inc. and Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc., and board chair of the National Kidney Foundation. She is a member of the board of governors for West Virginia State University and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Women's Forum.

Ms. McKibben previously served as senior director for Europe for the National Security Council and served on the boards of ECP Environmental Growth Opportunities Corp., and GlassBridge Enterprises, Inc., as vice chair for the New York Power Authority, and as a member of the international advisory board of the Foundation for Effective Governance.

Ms. McKibben received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, summa cum laude, from West Virginia State University, and her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.

Ms. McKibben obtained her membership through the military service of a family member.

Lt. Gen. Melcher served 32 years in the U.S. Army, including as the Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary for Financial Management, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Programs, G8, Director of the Army Program Analysis and Evaluation, and as the Commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division. He received the Distinguished Service Medal.

He currently serves as the non-executive chairman of embecta Corporation and as a member of the board of managers of GM Defense, LLC. He is a former director of Becton Dickson & Company and C.R. Bard Corporation and lead independent director of Cubic Corporation. He also was a White House Fellow in the Office of Management and Budget.

Lt. Gen. Melcher received his Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, and a Master of Public Administration from Shippensburg University. He holds an NACD CERT Certificate in Cyber-Risk Oversight.

Admiral Moran served 38 years in the U.S. Navy, including as Vice Chief of Naval Operations, Chief of Naval Personnel, Director of Air Warfare, and Commander of the Patrol and Reconnaissance Group.

Admiral Moran is the founder of WFM Advisors, LLC, the board chair and trustee of the Naval Academy Athletic Scholarship Program, and a trustee of the Naval Institute and the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation. He also serves as a director of Curtiss-Wright Corp. and several small start-up companies. Additionally, he is an advisor to Boeing Defense and WestExec Advisors.

Admiral Moran received his Bachelor of Science in English from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Master of Science in National Security Strategy from the National War College.

Chief Master Sergeant Murray served 29 years in the U.S. Air Force. He received the Air Force General Lew Allen Trophy and was awarded Distinguished Service, Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious and Air Force Meritorious medals.

He serves as chairman and trustee of the Air Force Museum Foundation, a trustee of the Airman Memorial Foundation, director of AFA/Air and Space Forces Association and the Air Force Enlisted Village.

His prior experience includes service as vice chairman of the Southeastern Federal Credit Union, director of Sustainment Operations and senior manager of Business Development at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. He also served as chairman of the AFA/Air and Space Forces Association, co-chairman of the Air Force Retiree Council, and director of the Armed Forces Benefit Association.

Chief Master Sergeant Murray received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, cum laude, from St. Leo University, and an Associate in Applied Science in Aircraft Maintenance Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.

Lt. Gen. VanAntwerp served 39 years in the U.S. Army and was Chief of Engineers and Commanding General in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He was also the Commanding General of the U.S. Army Accessions Command and Commanding General of the U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Lt. Gen. VanAntwerp is the founder of R.L. Van, LLC, and serves as vice chairman of Flippen Group, and as a member of the board of directors of Calibre Systems, Inc. and Stantec GS, Inc. His prior board experience includes service as board chairman of Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, and as a director of Current Hydro Corp., Cardno-GS, SAME Foundation, and CDM Smith.

Lt. Gen VanAntwerp received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Business Administration from Long Island University, and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Ms. Young is a member of the board of Aegon Ltd., non-executive chair of Foot Locker, Inc., and a member of the boards of directors of Spahn & Rose Lumber Co., and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).

Her former board experience includes chair, president and chief executive officer of the Phoenix Companies, and as a member of the boards of directors of Save the Children USA, Save the Children International, Sonoco Products Company, Wachovia, Goodspeed Opera House, Hartford Healthcare Corporation, the Connecticut Science Center, and Wittenberg University.

Ms. Young received her Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Political Science from Drew University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut. She is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow and holds an NACD CERT Certificate in Cyber-Risk Oversight.

Ms. Young obtained her membership through the military service of a family member.

Mr. Young is the chairman of Exelon Corporation and director of the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation.

He was previously chairman and director of the Nuclear Energy Institute and chairman of both EFIH Finance, Inc. and Energy Future Intermediate Holding Co. LLC. He served as a director on the boards of Children's Medical Center of Dallas, Nuclear Electric Insurance Ltd., Edison Electric Institute, Energy Future Holdings Corp., CSRA and the advisory board of the Baylor Scott & White Health Foundation. He served in various senior executive roles at Exelon Corp, Exelon Generation, ExelonPower, and EnergyFuture Holdings Corp. He was a member of the National Petroleum Council and the Center for Strategic and International Studies Dallas Roundtable.

Mr. Young received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and served five years in the U.S. Navy.
