About Josh
Josh Andrews joined USAA in August 2011. He is currently an advice director and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in the Enterprise Advice Group. In this role, he helps establish USAA’s advice standards and create meaningful personal finance content designed to facilitate members’ financial security. Josh focuses on the topics of military life, investments and education.
Josh got his start with USAA through the Junior Military Officer Career Development Program. Prior to his current role, he was an acquisitions manager in the mass affluent segment and led a team of wealth advisors.
Josh is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a bachelor’s degree in astronautical engineering. He holds a master’s degree in financial planning from Kansas State University. After 20 years of service in both active duty and the Reserves, Josh retired from the U.S. Air Force. During his Air Force career, he flew the T-38 A/C, F-15C, and MQ-9, and served as the U.S. Air Force Academy admissions director for South Texas.
Josh and his wife have two children.
